A.L.P.A Equipment presents the 3rd Annual King of the Airstrip

CANADA'S FASTEST TRAIL SLED

A.L.P.A Equipment has partnered up again with Easter Seals NB to host the 3rd annual race on the A.L.P.A Airstrip in Fredericton Febuary 17th and 18th/2017.

The A.L.P.A Equipment Airstrip is located 10kms from the Ramada on trail 15, and 2kms from A.L.P.A equipment parking lot where sleds can unload.

Admission is free to the public and all proceeds from concessions and class registrations will go to help disabled children via Easter Seals. Donations will be collected throughout the day.

Trius will be providing a free transportation service from the A.L.P.A Equipment parking lot to the airstrip (289 HWY 105, Maugerville, NB E3A 5G8)

NO ADMISSIONS FEE

RULES & REGULATIONS

$20 per class in strip stock/ N/A King/ Friday night pump gas/ kids 120/ factory turbo.
$50 for King of the airstrip/ Trail max/ Outlaw

FRIDAY NIGHT PUMP GAS

This class is always a blast.
-Pump fuel only (TANK MUST BE EMPTY AT REGISTRATION) Tech will be at the gas station and sleds will be required to reach a certain amount of fuel. Any sled that does not hold a certain amount of fuel will be DQ'd no questions and no refund. The driver of the sled is responsible to know how much fuel their own sled holds and the tech will make sure every sled takes more the 35 liters, except for the Nytro and they will be required to hold more then 25 liters, if any sled has a smell of race gas at the time of teching the sled will be required to empty the tank in front of the tech and a couple liters will go back in the sled (we will supply the clean gas for the couple liters and the electric pump)

-Trail drive will be required to the gas station to fill tanks with pump gas and do a trail drive.
-Must have trail pass (full body sled and all factory equipment on and working) ie lights, gauges and bumpers ect. Factory motor and chassis configuration.
-External intake are allowed

-No side or top exit exhaust.
-Trail track only.
-Trail carbide studs only (No race studs, chisels, sharpened carbides)
-Trail suspension at stock ride height.
-No tie downs.
-Trail aftermarket mods allowed (ie fuel controllers, pipes, reeds ect).
-ONE POWER ADDER ONLY -Turbos, Superchargers, NOS is allowed, (METH OR NOS IS NOT ALLOWED WITH TURBO’S OR SUPPERCHARGER’S)
-No delay boxes/stutter boxes/anti lag.

 

SATURDAY CLASSES

STRIP STOCK 600/700/800/1000
N/A KING(MADE UP OF THE TOP THREE FINISHERS IN 700/800/1000

-Pump gas only.
-Must have trail pass (full body sled and all factory equipment on and working ie lights, gauges, bumpers). Factory motor and chassis configuration.
-Trail track only.
-Trail carbides studs only.
-Trail suspension at stock ride height.
-No tie downs.
-Trail aftermarket mods allowed (ie fuel controllers, pipes, reeds ect).
-No power adder injection of any kind.
-Exhaust must exit through muffler or trail can (no open exhaust)
-Anyone that would like a shot at N/A King has to register at the time of registration but ONLY the top three finishers in 700/800/1000 will race. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-N/A King $500 to the winner.

 

FACTORY TURBO CLASS


-Must have Factory stock turbo (any brand with a factory turbo, ie Viper with a new turbo from the sidewinder, or Skidoo with a cat or sidewinder turbo)
-Race fuel allowed
-Must have trail pass (full body sled and all factory equipment on and working) ie lights, gauges and bumpers ect. Factory motor and chassis configuration.
-External intake are allowed

-No side or top exit exhaust.
-Trail track only.
-Trail carbide studs only (No race studs, chisels, sharpened carbides)
-Trail suspension at stock ride height.
-No tie downs.
-Delay boxes/ stutter boxes/ ant lag allowed.
 

KING OF THE AIRSTRIP - $2000 to the winner
(CANADA'S FASTEST TRAIL SLED) 

-Trail drive will be required on Saturday morning( cannot do the trail drive Friday night). Distance will be determined Saturday morning it could be a 10km drive or 50kms.
-Race fuel allowed
-Must have trail pass (full body sled and all factory equipment on and working) ie lights, gauges and bumpers ect. Factory motor and chassis configuration.
-External intake are allowed

-No side or top exit exhaust.
-Trail track only allowed
-Trail carbide studs only (No race studs, chisels, sharpened carbides)
-Trail suspension at stock ride height.
-Tie downs are allowed.
-Trail aftermarket mods allowed (ie fuel controllers, pipes, reeds ect).
-Turbos, Superchargers, Nos allowed
-Delay boxes/ stutter boxes/ ant lag allowed.
 

TRAIL MAX - $1000 to the winner

-Race fuel allowed
-Must have trail pass (full body sled and all factory equipment on and working) ie lights, gauges and bumpers ect. Factory motor and chassis configuration.
-External intake allowed

- Side and hood exit exhaust allowed
-Trail track only.
-Race studs allowed
-Trail suspension
-Tie downs allowed
-Trail aftermarket mods allowed (ie fuel controllers, pipes, reeds ect).
-Turbos, Superchargers, Nos allowed
-Delay boxes/ stutter boxes/ ant lag allowed.
 

OUTLAW - $1500 to the winner

-OPEN TO ANYTHING..........

 

 

If any fellow races feel there is a issue with teching a sled they can put up $50 to charity and the sled will be teched again in front of the person that put up the money.
